The rules for using Tyrant, its website and its Discord bot. What we do with your data is on the privacy page.
What Tyrant is
Tyrant is an independent fan project for players of Kingshot, run by the Tyrant team. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Century Games. Kingshot is a trademark of its owner.
Tyrant is free during early access. It is offered as it is, and it may change, pause or stop.
Your account
You sign in with Discord, and you need to be at least 13 and old enough to use Discord where you live. Whoever controls your Discord account controls your Tyrant account, so keep it safe.
Tyrant never asks for your game login. Never give it to anyone who says they are from Tyrant.
Alliances
An alliance's R5 decides who joins, who is an R4 and which Discord server is connected, and can hand the alliance to another member. R4s start polls and set Bear Trap times.
Members of an alliance can see its polls, who voted for what, its Bear Trap times and its activity log. The people who start a poll are responsible for what it says.
Players register their governors with the bot's /register command or on their profile. The alliance's R5 and R4s see the governors on its roster, and can take one off it. Register only governors that are yours.
The Discord bot
The bot joins a server only when someone with the Manage Server permission adds it from the alliance's Discord page on Tyrant. It posts only in the channels the alliance's R5 picks and in replies to commands. It does not read messages, and it never sends direct messages.
Server admins can limit or remove the bot at any time. Using the bot also means following Discord's own terms and community guidelines.
Fair use
Do not use Tyrant to harass anyone, post spam or hateful content, or break the law. Do not try to get into accounts or alliances that are not yours, or overload the service.
Do not copy Tyrant's data with bots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools, or read it outside the website and the Discord bot, for example straight from its database. Packs and players' profiles are for signed-in players, with a daily limit for each account.
Search engines and AI assistants may read the open pages to answer questions about Tyrant and link to it.
Tyrant never automates the game or reads its data. Do not use Tyrant to break Century Games' terms.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Our responsibility
Reminders and polls can be late or wrong, and Tyrant can be offline. Check important times in the game. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using Tyrant, such as a missed event.
Leaving, and changes
You can stop using Tyrant at any time, and delete your account yourself on your profile page. If these terms change, this page shows the new date, and bigger changes are also announced on the site.
Licences
Tyrant reads screenshots on your device with PaddleOCR's text models (Apache License 2.0) and ONNX Runtime Web (MIT License), as packaged by Guten OCR (MIT License).
Hero, gear and charm numbers are adapted from KingshotPro open data (CC BY 4.0).
