Set up in three steps

Five minutes, once. A server admin does the first two, all in Discord.

Step 1: Add Tyrant, then set it up

Who can do what

Three circles. Each one can do everything the circles around it do.

Managers
Change Tyrant's settings in the server.
The server admins, the R5 on Tyrant, and members with the manager role.
Officers
Start polls, set Bear Trap times and post the Register button.
The managers, the R5 and R4s on Tyrant, and members with the officer role.
Members
Use Tyrant: register, read their orders, vote.
Anyone in the server. Pick a member role, and only officers and members with it.

Tyrant for some members only

Pick a member role in /tyrant settings. Members without it get a short note, and officers always pass. Pick a manager role to let your R4s change the settings too.

When something is off

Most problems are a channel or a role. Start with /tyrant status.

The bot does not answer
Run /tyrant status. It says which alliance owns the server and what needs fixing.
The bot says this server is not connected
A server admin types /tyrant setup with the kingdom and the alliance tag.
"Tyrant is for members with a role"
The server picked a member role for Tyrant. Ask an officer for it.
"Only the R5 and R4 officers can do that"
Officers are the R5 and R4s on Tyrant, members with the officer role, and the managers.
No Bear Trap reminders
A manager picks a reminder channel and a role to ping with /tyrant settings.
"Tyrant cannot post in this channel"
Give Tyrant View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in that channel.
No job in a plan
Register with /register first. Then your officers can give you a job.
